GEN 2248 - PERSPECTIVES ON CIVIC ENGAGEMENT |
Not open to students who have completed GEN 1038. This foundational course addresses an overview of how democracy works through participatory citizenry. Students will be introduced to types of civic engagement, practices of engagement and community-building exercises through readings, reflections and community based learning experience. Students will recognize their own experience for being a civically engaged citizen.
