HIST 2411 - HISTORY IN FILMS AND GRAPHIC NOVELS |
As presentations of public history, historical films and graphic novels are often the product of intense historical and documentary research coupled with critical engagement with social, cultural, and economic issues. This course evaluates select films and graphic novels as they address issues of documentary evidence, historical method, and interpretation to make powerful arguments about the past.
