Prerequisite: Not open to those with credit for PHIL/HIST 1310. Crosslisted HIST 2403. Historical Consciousness Course (H). This course examines the development of Christian thought from the Bible, through the patristic era, and into the medieval period. Among the issues to be discussed are the Christological debates of the fourth and fifth centuries, the role of Augustine in the West, and the Eucharistic debates of the ninth century. Faculty: E.
