ANTH 1100 - INTRODUCTION TO ANTHROPOLOGY |
International/multicultural course (I). This course will introduce the field of cultural anthropology through an examination of human diversity worldwide. Topics will include ethnocentrism, ecological adaptation, political and economic systems, ritual and the arts. Particular attention will be paid to understanding cultures as dynamic systems which are undergoing processes of change.
