You can use any combination of selection options to narrow your search for courses. You must choose at least one subject. Multiple subjects can be selected by dragging the mouse over two or more courses, or holding the Ctrl key while clicking on desired subjects. When selecting by course number range, you must enter a low and a high number. When your selection is complete, choose Get Courses to perform the search. |

Prerequisite: Introduction to 2D Design (ARTV 1161 or ARTV 1165) or Introduction to 2D Digital Design (ARTV 1164 or ARTV 1167) or Introduction to Drawing (ARTV 1162 or ARTV 1166). Formerly titled Color Photography.
Arts course (A). This course is an introduction to digital photographic imaging, color management, digital printing, and video. The objectives include: an introduction to contemporary photographic topics, the creation of digital photographic prints, and an introduction to Adobe Lightroom (for still images) and Photoshop (for basic video editing) applications. This course emphasizes the production of exhibition quality inkjet prints made from digital files. Students must have access to a digital camera with manual controls for setting aperture, shutter speeds, white balance, RAW file format, and focus.
