LANG 2142 - MAPPING HISPANIC CULTURES I
Prerequisite: LANG 1241 or equivalent with a grade of C- of better.
International/multicultural course (I). Offered Fall term only.
Through informative readings, conversation activities, cinema, native guest speakers, and technology applications, students will "visit" the Spanish-speaking countries of Latin America, the Caribbean, and Spain in this first intermediate level Spanish course. Students will research historical figures, landmarks, geography and culture, and report and share their discoveries through various student-produced projects. This course will fulfill partial language requirements in the History program.
