GSS 2216 - HOLOCAUST AND GENOCIDE DENIAL
Denial of the Holocaust has no more credibility than the assertion that the earth is flat. Yet there are those who insist the Holocaust is nothing but a hoax. Despite living testimonies and vast documentary evidence-this irrational idea not only has continued to gain adherents but has become an international movement. Using the Holocaust as a starting point for analysis, this course will study the denial of the Armenian genocide and examine deniers of more recent genocides, including Rwanda, Bosnia and the current situation in Myanmar.
