CRIM 2121 - POLICE BEHAVIOR AND ORGANIZATION
Prerequisite: CRIM 1100.
This core course will study the effect upon police behavior of occupational role definition, the social and legal frameworks in which it takes place, the imperatives of police organization, jurisdiction, and philosophy. Special attention to discretion as a characteristic of police work.
